Spend the Night
Spend the Night is an overnight program offered in the fall and spring semesters that provides qualified high school juniors and seniors who are interested in Virginia Tech and the Corps of Cadets an opportunity to be assigned a host cadet and participate fully in the daily routine of a cadet.
The program is designed for an interested high school junior or senior to experience an afternoon, overnight, and morning routine in the Corps of Cadets, leaving the second day open to participate in the information sessions offered by Virginia Tech, the college for their desired major, and a campus tour. They may also arrange to attend a class with their host cadet.
Attendance Requirements
Seniors in high school should:
- To be competitive you should be within the middle 50% of students accepted to Virginia Tech. The middle 50% of students accepted last fall had between a 3.71 - 4.15 GPA.
