Spend the Night
Spend the Night is an overnight program offered in the fall and spring semesters that provides qualified high school juniors and seniors who are interested in Virginia Tech and the Corps of Cadets an opportunity to be assigned a host cadet and participate fully in the daily routine of a cadet.
The program is designed for an interested high school junior or senior to experience an afternoon, overnight, and morning routine in the Corps of Cadets, leaving the second day open to participate in the information sessions offered by Virginia Tech, the college for their desired major, and a campus tour. They may also arrange to attend a class with their host cadet
Session Information
In the fall and spring semesters, students will arrive on either a Monday or a Thursday at 3pm and the program concludes the following morning at 8:30am to allow visiting students time to take part in Virginia Tech's information sessions. There are approximately eighteen Spend the Night with the Corps overnight sessions offered each semester.
