The Virginia Tech Corps of Cadets is proud to announce that, barring weather or operational factors, the 393rd Bombardment Squadron, part of the 509th Bombardment Wing at Whiteman AFB, Missouri, will conduct a military aircraft flyover with a B-2 Spirit Stealth Bomber during the National Anthem prior to the Virginia Tech vs. (More...)

Highty-Tighties to march in Macy's Parade
The Highty-Tighties were invited to march in this year's Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. The Band has attended the Macy's parade many times before between 1977 and 1999. The Highty-Tighties will be marching unit #14 in the parade.
The parade will be televised from 9am until noon on NBC. It will be viewed by approximately 47 million people both live and on TV.

Welcome Back
The Corps of Cadets welcomes back all Cadets and other students of the University for another fine semester here in Blacksburg. We hope you all have had an enjoyable break, and are ready to work hard this spring.
Next week we will begin running a series of articles entitled "Meet Your Commanders." This series will highlight the commanders, executive officers, and staff members that help make the Corps successful.

Congratulations to all of the Cadets who are on the Commandant's List for this semester. In order to receive a slot on the Commandant's list, Cadets must earn above a 3.0 GPA for the previous semester.
