The Virginia Tech Rappel Tower is administered by Ranger Company. During New Cadet week, New cadets make a trip to the tower and learn to rappel. Apart from being fun, rappelling is a way to let the New Cadets relax and over come their fears, as they step over the edge into nothingness.
