Every year, the majority of the graduating seniors in the Virginia Tech Corps of Cadets goes on to pursue a career in the Nation's Armed Forces. Each individual service branch holds it's own ceremony here on campus shortly after Corps graduation. Commissioning is an important milestone in a Cadet's career, because it marks the transition from the role of Cadet officer, to the role of Officer in the United States Military.
